You’ll learn how to:

  • Serve alcohol responsibly in licensed venues and manage risks such as intoxicated patrons and underage customers
  • Recognise signs of over-consumption, de-escalate situations calmly, and refuse service when required
  • Understand your legal obligations under Victorian liquor licensing and how they apply to different settings

Training is delivered face-to-face in Echuca, making it accessible to people in Moama, Bendigo, Shepparton, and surrounding Victoria. This one-day (approx. 6–7 hour) course includes role-play, theory, and practical scenarios designed to build your confidence and competence.

Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide 100 points of identification (including photo ID)
  • Demonstrate basic literacy and communication skills (an LLN assessment may be required)
  • Attend a full classroom session including both theoretical and practical components
