HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Be prepared to step in when emergencies happen. The HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course at NSTA Echuca™ teaches you the essential skills to perform CPR in line with the current Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

In this course, you’ll learn how to:

  • Apply the DRSABCD action plan in real-world scenarios.
  • Perform CPR on adults, children, and infants.
  • Safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Our training is practical and supportive, giving you the confidence to respond effectively at work, in the community, or at home.

This nationally recognised qualification is valuable across many industries, including healthcare, education, hospitality, security, and trades, and is equally important for anyone who wants to be prepared in a crisis.

Local delivery: Training is available in Echuca and nearby areas such as Moama, Bendigo, and Shepparton, making it convenient to complete your CPR certification close to home.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 14 years

  • Completion of required e-learning before face-to-face training

  • Participation in practical assessments, including CPR demonstration on a manikin

  • Ability to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor
